Live in love

One minute of joy and love is eternity, so are one good thought, one good deed and a big laugh. Add more of this. I am bad in maths, you add up. Live in love.

EYES ON STARS

  • Once a poet said: I don't want to leave my shoes behind, for someone will try it on.
  • It sounds arrogant that nobody should take his place. There are many who have what they do not deserve and many, who though having talent, slumber in the dark caves of oblivion, forgotten by a tasteless people. "Nallathor veenai seidhe, adhai nalamkeda puzhuthiyil yerivathundo" wrote Bharathi _ and how right he was. To be seen and to have one's talent recognised, self-projection is necessary.
  • Old people suffer more from being ignored than from diseases. The world moves on and they stand trying to make sense out of fast-changing situations, and language also.
  • Among the youth, self-confidence is sometimes seen as arrogance, but what can one do when one is struggling? To be laughed at is bad but to be scared to death is worse. In such cases they appear arrogant, to survive and win in a competitive world.
  • As Oscar Wilde said: All of us are in the gutter, but some of us have our eyes fixed on stars."

The young are arrogant or appear to be so because they forget they will become old like those they despise or ignore or disrespect. The old envy the youth and keep criticising or advising them, forgetting that when they were young they were also like them. The old will be old and the young will be young. To want to be recognised and live by the praise of others is the surest way to unhappiness. Good piece. keep it up.
